The Oak Trees that line Government Boulevard down town are a site to see. Mobile is steeped in a tradition of gardening. It is one of the things that makes Mobile unique.

Mobile is also no stranger to creative and ambitious people. Few however, rival the creativity, vision and drive of Mr. Charles Wood. In 1994 he had a dream of creating a Japanese Garden in Mobile. For anyone who has seen an authentic Japanese garden, it's not hard to understand why. A contemplative stroll in a Japanese garden defines serenity and peacefullness. They are certainly beautiful and inspiring.
